1969 MGB Roadster

1969 MGB RoadsterCAR# GAN4U[removed phone]For sale is a beautiful antique 1969 MGB Roadster, 2 door convertible English sports car. It is a 100% complete turn-key with its clear title in-hand, registered, recently serviced, inspection exempt and ready to hit the open road this summer.I am the second owner of this car and it has been my project for the past few years. It has been stripped down to the frame and rebuilt to the classic you see today. The original frame, chassis and wheel wells have been undercoated, 65' Banjo MG rear axle, new metal floor boards and rockers, Rosati white paint job, original engine, carbs and rebuilt brake system. New clutch, wiring harness, dashboard and gauges (including speedometer which stopped working and was replaced around 30k miles), ashtray, console, carpeting, chromes bumpers, front grille, aftermarket soft top, 12gal gas tank, interior door panels, door sill plates, full stainless steel exhaust system, starter, battery converted from two 6 volts to one 12 volt, electronic ignition, distributor, spark plugs, ignition coil and wires, headlights, fog lights, wire spoke rims and Champiro VP1 185/70/R14 tires, aluminum valve cover, air filter housings. I've installed custom billet racing mirrors, a driver's side view mirror, headlight eyebrows, reupholstered seats, and authentic MG decals. Most MG parts were purchased from Moss Motors. The car is garage kept/covered, has never seen rain or snow, no rust/rot, babied when driven and a non-smoking vehicle. It has around 40k total original miles on its 4cyl engine and drive train, and I've only put 130 miles on the engine since completing the build. The 4spd transmission shifts smoothly and new clutch isn't even broken in yet. The car has no mechanical or electrical issues, runs cool and idles flawlessly. Everything works perfectly except for the original radio which isn't hooked up and the windshield washer pump which stopped working recently. I will be including the full size wire spoke rim/spare tire and original MG jack. This car must be seen in person and driven to truly appreciate. Selling only because I have multiple MG projects going on and don't have the time to enjoy this one. This is a classic weekend cruiser or an easy icon at any car show!Asking $10,500 or Best "Reasonable Offer"No dreamers, joy riders, low-ball offers, trades or scammers please. Car is being sold "As-Is" condition and no warranties implied. Please have your funds in order prior to calling - Serious inquiries only, thank you. Please call or text me for further information. I have numerous pictures throughout the rebuild. This ad does not contain hyperlinks, but for the history and the factory technical data of the MGB, seehttp://www.mg-cars.org.uk/MGB/mgbspec.html
